Hi need help on understanding pedigree papers lol

Sill question but i get Shadow's papers in September and i get really confused when looking at the family tree part how do i know what dogs are female and males n what dogs and females are on who's side after the grand parents lol

only asking because when i get them i want to start being nosey and trying to find pics of the dogs on his papers

When you get them they'll be set out a bit like this....

If you draw a line, horizontally between your dog's mum & dad, then all the dogs above that line are the dog's relatives & all the dogs below are the bitch's realtives.

You'll see that the dog will always be on top, and the bitch he's mated to will be underneath, ie

You'll see that Bandit's father was Yankeestaff Bolivar, Bolivar's father was Kerrisdale Theiving Demon & his mother was Astaff Clare's Cassandra, and so on.

Any champions will be in red.
