I'm way away, do think we should orgnise a forum meet up though, with a dog friendly pub involved!! Even a plane journey to Aus could be in order, seen some pics of a pool I like

Re: meeting up for walks??
There was another forum I was a member of and they used to do meets twice a year all over the country, camping and everything, was fab. Maybe in the future I guess.
Your lucky you have peole near you! I rarely see other staffies, and walking on your own gets rather dull sometimes.

Guest- Guest
Re: meeting up for walks??
sounds good mate i also have bad sciatica just had my MRI scan week before last just wating to hear if i have to have surgery to remove slipped discs in the bottom of my spine. also think a proper forum meet would be good maybe late spring early summer i dont mind travelling a bit. hopefully some more NE members will in for a local meet up.

Re: meeting up for walks??
yeah i do abit of camping through the summer so don't mind a bit of travel, hope its good news with the scan, never suffered with it before it all started with a sneeze

Re: meeting up for walks??
I would absolutely love a forum meet, I've said this before. All the forum regulars getting together would be awesome but there's such a distance! We've got Niff and Sean up in Scotland and me at the opposite end, with I think Ruby&me, in the south west. Would be awesome if we could arrange something in the summer though

Re: meeting up for walks??
im hoping they will operate and fix my back im sick to death of having back pain, those MRI scans are are a bit of an experience defo no good if your clostrophobic (spelling??). had the scan at bishop auckland hospital, the thing with my back is i can bend forward but cant straighten up proper and the pain goes right down my left side from the bottom of my spine down into my calf on the left leg and pins and needles in mt left foot. 36 and reddy for the knackers yard lol.

we would have to try and organise somewhere central so most could make it with a bit travelling im hoping it happens would be cool maybe even camping with the dogs.

Re: meeting up for walks??
if its going to be a big get together, bringing dogs would be impracticable i think, couldn't see 30 staffs and 1 EBT on a camp site with 31 pissed owners that wouldn't go well
Guest- Guest
Re: meeting up for walks??
what you getting tattood i have loads of tattoos two full sleeves of japanese and most of my back done japanese, tattoos are cool. have been fancying a portrait of my macks.

Imagine the shame of it Caryll being banned by the caravan & camping club that would be a new low for me

Re: meeting up for walks??
They weren't all that happy with me in Yorkshire when Dempsey got out of the tent & decided to tell another camper's boxer just who was in charge!

Re: meeting up for walks??
I would so love it if we could arrange something. The dogs are why we're all here so I'd love to meet all of these gorgeous dogs in the flesh and chat face to face with everyone rather than with a keyboard.

Re: meeting up for walks??
I think if we all want to do it, we should be able to arrange something. I think it'll be fab meeting each other properly and getting the dogs together. I know there are dominant ones like Dempsey, but I'm sure between us all, we could keep the peace. Lets do it!

Re: meeting up for walks??
it would be best to do 2 different dates at 2 different venues to give more people a chance of getting to one, and also owners digression if they take there dogs
