Whale Wars: Viking shores
I'm obsessed with Whale Wars as i'm sure you know.
New episodes now on Fri 9PM on Discovery. Such slaughter is so sad to see. I understand that the people of the islands need food, but to wipe out and slaughter 100's of whales in one go is just barbaric. They wipe out a whole family in one go, how is that sustainable?
Personally i agree that they have a better life than captive animals, but i would prefer if they selectively caught and killed enough whales from different pods to sustain their food intake, not just kill them all cause they are there. There is no need. Its also a very brutal death, very painful and bloody and not very humane at all.
