She looks pleased with herself!! Saxon has never encountered that much mud so I don't know how he'd react!

Re: Glad mine don't do this......
Charlie LOVES rolling in mud and if he saw that, he'd be straight in!! It can be so bloody frustrating at times, but there's just no stopping him. Now I just have to laugh and always make sure he goes for a swim in the creek before we head home.
This just reminded me of somehting that happened a few weeks ago. One of my neighbours has a beautiful GSD/collie/lurcher mix, and we walk the dogs together most nights. Well on one of our walks a few week ago, Charlie and Buster had been swimming in the creek, then on our way back, they found a nice muddy patch to roll in
So me and Marianne decided to walk them to another spot on the creek to wash them off, and on the way there, we saw a car parked up outside of the kids youth hut with one of the front doors open. Buster, normally a very well behaved dog, just went bombing off over to the car, jumped through the front door and we could see him climbing all over someone in the back. Charlie went racing over to join him but luckily stopped and sat when I shouted. We ran over in a panic, Charlie whining, dying to get in the car but wouldn't because I told him to wait. As we got close, the back door opened, out jumped Buster looking very pleased with himself and a lady, absolutely COVERED in muck climbed out, looking in absolute shock, wearing white jeans and a cream top, well, that was the colour they had been before Buster jumped in the car anyway!
Her friend who had been driving, also got out, took one look at her, and started laughing hysterically. That was it, all four of us started laughing so hard! Marianne was absolutely mortified, and kept apologising between laughs, and told Buster off and put him back on the lead.
THANK GOD Charlie listens to me, cos he would've been in there like a shot if it had been my hubby walking him. We were so shocked cos Buster is normally a very well behaved dog and does as Marianne tells him, but this time, he REALLY wanted to go say hi to the lady in the back of the car.
Luckily, both women took it very, very well. Marianne offered to pay to have the car cleaned and for the woman's clothes to be dry-cleaned, but they wouldn't hear of it. It could have been so much worse, I dread to think how they would have taken it if it had been big old Charlie jumping all over them, but they were really lovely about it and found it funny.

I LOVE THIS! I couldn't stop giggling! At least mine have never seen that much mud! Mine like to dig massive holes in the garden and get covered in dirt but they've never done this!
