Tilly's walk today (pic heavy) FB

First chance we have had to try out the new camera on a bit of action and I'm quite pleased with the results , once I read the manual it may be even better

This is the face I showed Dad last night when he put that little brown thing in the car with me and I refused to talk to him all the way home (but I think he's ok now, for a brown thing, sleeps a lot so that's good for me , just a shame its in my bed

We played a little game of recall (I get a biscuit at each end so I don't really mind the exercise



We also have a game I like playing at the lake it's called runny up and down the hill but Dad said it was rubbish for photographs as I'm way too fast



And I found a friend on the way

Thanks for those Dave, You will need a fast shutter speed for Tilly running, to freeze the action. Put the dial on S which is shutter priority then you use the thumb wheel to select the speed, at least 1/250 should be OK.

Thanks for that , still not read the manual yet was using sport mode and taking 5 shots at a time , gets a pain when I'm going through them all to delete them, really pleased with some of the results I'm getting 1 million times better than my little sony cybershot but that is really good as long as its outside and things arent moving too fast

Dave, also check the ISO setting is high enough when in the woods it will be slightly darker so about 800 should be fine.
