Artwork of my dearly missed buddy Murphy

Not sure if I should put it here but here goes. I lost my mate Murphy in May 2012. My friend had it commissioned by a Sydney artist for my 40th. Can't wait for it to arrive. She worked from the photo that I emailed her. I saw the painting yesterday via an email....and I cried like a baby.

Wow what a great picture , would love one done of Rocky someday, when i get around to it I guess.

Thank you for all your lovely comments. Mike it's 75x100cm and it's gonna go on the wall next to my sofa so I can look at it every day and imagine him laying on the sofa with me. The image is how I want to remember him. The end for murphy was particularly painful as he died of cancer and looked so poorly at the end.
