1. Read the complete works of Kafka

2. Pay more attention to my OH

3. Acquire a huge Victorian Whitby Jet necklace (that might be related to resolution 2)

4. Stop smoking again

5. Visit art galleries more often

6. Buy more clothes

7. Chuck lots of clothes out

Go back to the gym, and take Molly for longer walks, and work on her training, with everyone in the house!
Oh and probably most importantly, find a job and move out.

Sounds like a nightmare. I would not have my mother in law looking through my bank statements, thats downright rude! I feel sorry for you, I cant imagine how difficult it would be if I didnt get on with my in laws so well.

Soz to keep quoting lol!! I'd be so peeved if my inlaws (not that I'm close to having any!!) went through my mail! Thats so wrong, although my mother has a key to my place and I wouldn't put it past her!!

It's just rude and disrespectful. She wouldn't like it if you went through her mail. My mum wouldn't dream of going through my bank statements, nor would my mother in law - there'd be hell to pay if they did!!

My mother in law is the same.. she thinks she needs to know it all..... we have only just startign talkin to them again after 6 months. For the kids sake.
She used to do our banking and i am sure she used to look at our accounts.. etc.
and when i used to fax things for work she would always open them and read them... drove me nuts... I decided to do my banking on line so she has no access to them now. ( she owns the post office down the road.. it was just convience)
They are sercet as... they went to FIJI for gawds sake and didnt tell a sole they were going... they are weird.. we tell them nothign now!

Post by Tys mummy Wed Dec 29 2010, 13:25

Thats bad your mother inlaw. My mum opens mine for me not that I tell her to like its just I leave them on the side unopend for weeks and curiosity gets the better of her in the end I hate opening them because they always say the same thing she likes to be a nosey bint but she never questions me she knows better!

My new years resolution is to keep not smoking and get more exercise I now understand why people put on weight when they quit!
And also to save money and get out of the mothers house ASAP. I wouldnt mind joining a boxing club always wanted to do something like that good idea I may look in to this.
