Jeremy Kyle and the Likes - should they be banned ???

I have a particular dislike to these programmes

1) As my OH always watches them
2) Because I just can't believe how many scumbags they drag onto telly to air their dirty washing (if they are actually real stories)

What do you think ?? Have you ever been on one (hope not or its ), do you know anyone involved in one ??? What do you think, is it good TV or just a run on from the David Letterman days and should have had the plug pulled years ago

Thing is though Steve , there are some really decent people that grow up on housing estates etc (I would put myself in that category) and you never see them with a story to tell on the programme. These people don't give a toss about looking shameful on TV and do it for the money (to buy a few bottles of white lightning) . Wouldn't surprise me these days if some of the girls get theirselves a few boyfriends , and a couple of kids before they are 18 just to increase their chance of having their moment of TV fame

I cannot stand these programs either, I just choose not to watch them

i know it not everyone but more and more people are getting like it on housing estates something as to change and only extreme thing like NS is going fixed our problem because the problem is growing like a plague, if we carry on like we are i dread to think what it would be like in 15/20 years in some housing estates

I don't like them much & I don't watch them - they're totally unbelievable to me. But people watch them so they'll never be banned.

I love Jezza cracks me up when I watch it!! But I am a little thick so that probably why

Its good if you're feeling down about yourself I guess, they. Always manage to find the absolute dregs of society to go on. I don't see the appeal of watching it though.

I am ashamed to say that one of my ex's went went on there apparently before I met him (in my defence it was when the show first started and wasn't as bad as it is now, and he did have all his own teeth! ) I should've left as soon as I found it out though, instead I ignored the alarm bells and kept seeing him. Something I will regret for the rest of my life

Nothing I want to put on an open forum, but something that still affects me almost 10 years on. I am not easily affected by things, and I have had alot of bad things happen to me in my life but he tops it all off nicely I seem to do well at picking "nice" men! , OH is the exception though . I don't hold grudges, and don't hate anyone, except for him. I am still waiting for karma to catch up with him, and I hope I am there when it does! They would have a field day on the Jermy Kyle show with my past!

Some men can be complete tw@s, present company excluded of course, thankfully there are also some gracious ones out there thank goodness. Hold your head high and rise above it would be my advice.

There are nice men out there, shame I had to go through so many idiots to find one! Lol. My life hasn't been the best, from when I was little with an alcoholic step dad, hearing him threatening to kill my mum during a massive arguement when she finally told him she was leaving, all through school being bullied, through boyfriends that stalked me, cut brake pipes on vehicles I was in, costing me a fortune on damage to mine and my families show cars and work vehicles, to what "he" did, but then I met OH, and as much as he annoys me at times I couldnt be happier and love my life with him and my two gorgeous children People go through alot worse than me in their lives, and I refuse to let anything in my past make me a bad person. There is no excuse for anything that has happened to me, but I will rise above it all and will not let it drag me down, ever.

i love this programme, its so bad its good! especially now he has gone to america with it " is my gf sleeping with her dad" priceless!!!!

I would love to go on the show, but I burn't my best shell suit last week trying to iron the creases out. So got nothing decent to wear and I'm not going on in me scruffs
