James McClean deserve the abuse he getting!

he play for the played for under-age Northern Ireland then swap to rep. ireland i don't think players should be allow to do that bang out of order.... he deserve the abuse hes getting!!

There's no excuse for violent abuse online. BUT, I really don't know what he expected. Northern Ireland is still a very sensitive place to live & it is still deeply divided. To play for one team (Northern Ireland) and then decide to switch allegience to further his own vareer will be seen as traitorous.

i saw some of his posts and they was just asking for trouble... one something like i cant wait for the euro glad the dogs aren't going if it wasn't for Northern Ireland it would be very unlikely he would of got his big move.. players shouldn't be allow to jump ship when a better option come a long... when you pull a country shirt on don't matter what ages group you have to stick with them for rest of your playing days.. i cant believe Fifa changed it

I totally agree with that. You make a choice & you stick with it. Loyalty just doesn't seem to figure nowadays.
