Anyone had Hijama?
Anyone had Hijama?
I have allot of knee pain due to laying allot of floors. Was gonna say due to working on my knees allot but thought it sounded so wrong on so many levels.
Anyway on sunday I got some theropy called Hijama also known as wet cupping. It seems to have reduced the pain in my knees by about 80% after 1 session.
Anyone else had it done? I would reccomend it
Was gonna post a youtube link but it doesn't look nice and its teatime. But search it if you have any pain.
I paid £35 for 1 session and it lasted about 1 hour

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
Its an eastern thing. A guy who is a muslim told me about some guy who does this cupping which got a simular reaction from me Janey.
I told him there have been stories coming out of blokes cupping in the catholic church also and I'm not interested

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
Doesn't it.....wouldn't recommend asking your dealer for it though....dealers normally carry bigger blades than the Hijama crew it could get messy

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
Never heard of it. I have used acupunture which has helped. I also use a joint restoration pill with glucosamine, chroniodon and shark cartalige. Can't spell worth a damn but both have helped the knees

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
Yeah I used to take Glucosamine tablets. Problems with them is they take a while for them to build up and I was damaging my knees faster than it was repairing so in the end they were doing nothing for me.
Hijama is very good and cheap. After a few sessions you only have to get it down about once a year.
Meant to be also really good anyone who gets migraines, back ache, arthritis and things like carpal tunnel syndrome.
Allot of videos on you tube about it but if you don't like the sight of blood don't watch lol
Anyone looking for pain relief though should look into it and don't worry it looks bad but it just felt like someone ticking me.

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
I'm surprised I've never heard of Hijama before. I still use my tablets and they seem to be working well for me. I've cut back alot on the abuse I put my body through alot the last year or so as well.

Re: Anyone had Hijama?
Dry cupping is meant to be good but it tends to crush the toxins and move them to other parts of the body instead of drawing them out.
Like I said Wazza looks really bad but honestly you can't even feel it.
