Hello from a Newbie with a gorgeous blue pup.

Just a quickie, hello to everyone on this website. A bit about us, we live in bishops stortford and have just bought a beautiful blue staff pup called Buddy. We decided to go ahead and welcome another staffy into our home,after Archie (only 7 years old) died of a misdiagnosed brain tumour. He was without doubt the best dog anyone could have had the pleasure to meet. He did lick for england (no shoes or toes were left dry after he had been near them) we were informed, by our vets, that he was so attached and affectionate towards us,that was the reason for the tongue !! When he suddenly died, our whole lives were turned upside down,we were walking around the house making sure that we had not closed a door with him left in the bedroom.Even when we cooked a roast chicken i still separated the skin off for him to have later...but he had been gone for nearly 2 months at that stage.Buddy was the snoring,burping,farting answer to our dilema,we bought him from a private residential breeder in bedworth and we visited him every 2 weeks from birth. We watched him grow,take his first wobbly steps and even his first solid meal.He had 5 other brothers and sisters, we saw his mum and his dad. The owners could not have been more accomodating with us,she was a lovely lady. Buddy is a very handsome young puppy and is full of mischief (he is a staffy) so fr succeeding in trashing most of my wives lovely flower beds and dragging the covers off the barbecues and the washing off the line. I have seen another puppy on this website that looks exactlylike him and even has the same markings and month of birth. Sorry about Archie, it's obvious how much you loved him. Buddy sounds like a trip glad you have a wonderful puppy to love.

its good to see so many people ,who love their staffies, not the usual idiots who just want to breed aggressive dogs and then fight them. There are a few of those individuals near where we used to live in harlow.
I would love to find the other litter mates from buddies litter (owner does not seem forthcoming with information...alarm bells a ringing)
He was born on 22 feb 2012 in bedworth,just outside coventry,with 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
If you know anyone who has one of them could you let me know. Thanks

I wouldn't read too much into that. Most breeders won't reveal details of where their pups have gone, and quite rightly. It's private! What you could do is ask the breeder (nicely) if he/she could pass on your details to the other owners to see if they want to contact you.

I am so sorry for the loss of Archie.. would have been devastating to lose him at only 7, but sounds like Buddy will be keeping you on your feet from now on!!
