Sorry Sam Empty Sorry Sam

Post by Kathy Fri May 25 2012, 21:17

I've just heard this week that my brothers ex wife and her boyfriend have just split up. The ex and my brother had a son together (we'll call him Sam) who spends time between them both.

The boyfriend bought Sam an EBT some months ago. Sam has of course become very attached to the dog and had even gone to training classes with it. Sam and his mum take the dog for walks everyday and do training at home too.

Recently the boyfriend split up with the ex and took the dog with him, needless to say Sam has been and still is very upset about it and spent all day Monday crying. I dont know who's name the dog was registered in with vet but I am assuming it was Sams Mum.

I know it's nothing to do with me at all and I really feel for my little nephew Sam who is now 10 years old. Some men can be real tw@s at times, why take his spite out on the boy?

The ex is going out this weekend to get him another dog !!!

I have a stepson and he gave me a grandson, I'm grandad and wouldn't have it any different , If I lost him in a break up I would be very devastated , people should think about the kids as they are the ones that suffer every time

That's a horrible thing to do, buy him a dog then take it away. What is wrong with someone they think that's ok.

I just dont know where his is coming from really, but I have an awful feeling the dog will end up in a rescue centre because he wont be able to give it the time it needs.

so why take it? some people are so self involved that they don't or can't think what consequences they will create through they're own selfish actions

Why? Because he can. He knows it'll hurt the boy & therefore hurt the boy's mum. Such a shame, poor Sam & poor dog. Sad

Aw just read this, poor Sam!

I hate it when women use their children against their exes, and this is just as bad. That poor little boy is completely innocent and is the one suffering. I bet your brother is angry and feeling bad for his little lad too.

Let's just hope that his mum puts the effort in with the new dog and he doesn't have to be separated from that one, it would be heartbreaking for him if that happened again.
