Curly Tail
Our beautiful girl Bella has a curly tail like a pug but never had it till she turned about 3 months old . She is a Pedigree from A registered Breeder and we have the papers to breed her and show her. We saw Mum and Dad and they were fine. Luckily we dont want to breed her or show her shes just our baby. Breeder said it was because they were overcrowed in Mum as she had litter of 8, We believe it is a fault. They did offer to take her back and give us another dog. We love our Unique little lady and wouldnt swap her for all the money in the world.
Just wondering if anyone else has a Staffy with a Pig Tail.

Re: Curly Tail
can we have some pictures ?? not got a staffy with a pig tail but sure a few of our members will have seen this before. And like you say I wouldn't swap Tilly if she grew an extra ear

Re: Curly Tail
It's definitely a fault, but I doubt that it was caused by being 'overcrowded' in the womb! If that was the case it would have been curled right from day one! Anyway, litters of 8 are not uncommon in staffs.
Unfortunately, though, it happens. Just one of those things.

As said it is just one of those things, one of her grandparents may have had this fault or both who knows! All that matters is she has a forever home x

Re: Curly Tail
Ahhhhh looks so cute anyway,
Rocky has a kinky tail too, we think it got broken when he was very young, we adopted him from rescue centre when he was about 12 months and he had it then, doesnt make any difference at all just gives him more character.

Re: Curly Tail
Its like im looking at King!
You can definately tell they're brother and sister, although bella looks a little smaller.
King loops it around his lead when we walk too haha.
Watching him try and catch it is hilarious!
It also looks like they have different ears, Bella's ears appear to stand upwards when she's listening forward but Kings stick out to the sides.

Re: Curly Tail
Handsome boy King.
Bellas ears are doing mental things at the moment. One is up and one is done. You can rub the up one and it goes down till she hears something.
Vet told us part of puppyhood.
