Ruby pics
Heres our little cutie, born on 26th feb shes coming up for 12 weeks old. Thought id share a few pictures of her we have taken along the way.
Here she is at 3weeks 6days old, when we 1st saw the litter of pups and picked her. She had been looked over by the other potential new homes as shes 'boring brown' but her little personality was so much nicer than her nicely marked brothers and sister.
1st home, before we decided to crate train her, she was crated with her brothers and sister and she took to it right away and stopped weeing during the night and if we needed to leave her alone. She refuses to get out of it now if shes sleepy, even if we need to move the crate she just sits in there while it moves. As you can see, we had 4+ weeks to buy her lots of toys to make sure she had plenty to do!
Sleeping soundly
So very stressed in the car too
Meeting her big brother Dudley cat, hes started to accept her but she picks on him a lot
Sunbathing

And this is her about a week ago, its hard getting a nice pic of her as shes a brown blur in most piccys, shes eyeing up a treat i have beside the camera here, hence the dodgy looking sideways stare

Re: Ruby pics
Wow, boring brown? Lol, I think she is adorable. My boring brown and whites are just fine by me! Sometimes the overlooked ones are the best pets anyhow. My two whites were unwanted as well, but they are just as lovely and in some ways I imagine they are more thankful for a good home.

Re: Ruby pics
i love her to iddy bitty teeny tiny pieces, sometimes i just want to squeeeeeze her in a tight cuddle the lady we bought her from also hated that she was told 'we dont like her as shes boring looking', to be honest we did almost overlook her for a pretty patterned boy but my husband picked her up and handed her to me and she immediately snuggled into my jumper and fell asleep, well that was that, she was going to be ours! shes not totally brown anyway, she has 2 white toes on 1 back paw so shes patterned too in her own little way. i love how deep ginger her fur is, though shes getting darker as the weeks go by. id love to rescue a boy to live with her sometime down the line, but need her to be totally settled in and we can consider it then (oh and spayed as there are already lots of staffs stuck in rescues, not adding to that problem!) i think its the overlooked ones that make better pets too, her very nice patterned siblings were so jumpy, yappy and snappy i just couldnt imagine living with one of those guys! Ruby is perfect for us thank you for the lovely comments on here, everyone on this forum is sooooo friendly

Re: Ruby pics
oh we are definitely taking lots of pics, our last rescue was a rottie x dobe and she was terrified of cameras being pointed at her (bizarre but she had some serious mental issues from previous owners) so im making up for not being able to show her off much and documenting Rubys growth and changes almost daily shes gona be a very camera savvy dog

Re: Ruby pics
What a beautiful little girlie you have there, you must enter one of those picture into the monthly puppy pics competion, would be a certain winner.
Seems to me that dogs pick their owners, I know Rocky chose us, sounds like Ruby chose you too, it was meant to be.
i'm sure you are going to get thousands of pictures of her and will have hours of fun in doing so too.
