Dissertation

Well, I've just finished year 2 at uni so now its time to get on with dissertation research for year 3. I love eighteenth century and have decided to do something on the eighteenth century (first) feminist, Mary Wollstonecraft. Not entirely sure what I'm going to write about her yet so I'm reading through everything she's written - which is a lot. God knows why I do this to myself I guess I'd better get on with it

I think she will prove to be an interesting subject including feminism, the educational system and the womens movement. Thanks to her work we now have a much improved national education system. Good luck with it all.

Very true! I did a biography on her for my life writing module and that's what gave me the idea of using her as my dissertation subject, she was an amazing woman who led an incredible life and was the founder of feminism.

Rather you than me, I have a year yet before I get to this stage. Yet I am already dreading it lol! Good luck with it, soon be over for you! What are you plans after this degree?

I'm going to get my masters then possibly a phd. I figure if I'm going to do it, I may as well go all the way and do it properly

Sounds fab well done. My sister is doing her masters in psychology at the moment, sounds really stressful but so worth it!

I sometimes wish I had went to uni, then I hear about dissertations and change my mind lol. It sounds like a really interesting subject for it.
