Mummy's boy!
On days when I have to go to work my OH takes Buster to work with him. He works in a yard so Buster gets to have a good run round and meet people. When OH has to do some work, like spray or drive the truck, then Buster has to be shut in the canteen (he did make a pen bit for him, but he kept getting out) He says that Buster is a nightmare and will not come back when called as he seems to know when he is going to be shut in. He has even got other people to call him, but he wont go to anyone. He stays close, but not close enough for him to be caught. Now Buster has to stay on lead while there. Today I have brough Buster to work with me (the boss is away ). OH was telling me I'll regret it, he'll be a nightmare. Since I've been here he has had a run around the yard, and come back every time I called him, played with Lewis (my youngest who has to come to work with me) and he is now lay in Lewis' bouncy chair having a sleep! I don't know what OH was complaining about! Buster is such a mummy's boy

very true!
He was an angel, and has been all day. We even had dog training tonight and after missing a week because of the bank holiday I thought he would be a nightmare, but he was almost perfect (he did everything untill we had to let all the dogs offlead outside, then he never came back because he was too busy playing with another dog ) If I could I would take him to work with me every day. I got more done because he kept Lewis occupied so I could get on with things.

Re: Mummy's boy!
I loved it when I took Moo to work, a job is a job but I hate leaving her home
I do believe that especially a staff will be better behaved for the person who is he main handler, if oh finds it a prob split the feeding and the fun bits.
Or convince your boss that he should come to workwith you

Re: Mummy's boy!
I have suggested to OH before about doing more stuff with Buster outside work, but he's not really interested. Buster is my dog, and it was agreed before we got him that I would do everything and OH would take him to work when I had to so that he didnt have to be left alone at home for too long. I work for family, I know it is pointless asking about Buster coming to work with me I will just have to make do with taking him when the boss is working away

Re: Mummy's boy!
Buster is lovely!!!!!
I know how you feel, Butkus is an outdoor dog because my boyfriend says he's like a train wreck running about the place, but when I sneak him in in the mornings he is as quiet as a mouse and just lays down by my feet, doesn't run anywhere.
I think it's just my boyfriend's effect on him because he always wrestles with him and plays rough with him so I think Butkus gets too excited when he is around, yet with me he only wants a cwtch.... awww bless.

Yep, it's always OH that talks for Britain, I have to drag him off if we are on our way somewhere or he'd be late to everything!
