It's over!!!!

Uni that is

last exam was yesterday no more uni now, just an essay to hand in Friday and another the following Friday. I had an awful week with exams this week, bed at 1am then up at 5.30am to revise before kids woke plus revison whilst kids were at school and then nursery for the day!

Tinkerbell is chuffed it is over more than me, back to long walks again! I have some new pics of her to add when i get a chance.

But until then just wanted to say Hi and sorry for being away so long!!! Been really stressful with Uni work plus the childminder sent me a text at 10pm the week before exams to say she couldn't work exam week......I was not impressed. On top of revising and writing essays (I had 3 essays to hand in week before exams) I had to sort out childcare for them. Ian and I haven't spoken in a week either because I am stressed and tired, and he now works 7 nights a week so is also tired.

Thanks Lynne. I have had good results so far, best was 74% and 85% in my laboratory reports written at chrsitmas time when Harrison had a chest infection! Had the highest in the class too

Passed everything else with good marks too, but only scraped a pass by 7% in my history essay because I have no medical hisotry knowledge lol. Waiting on results for 3 essays, a presentation and 2 exams plus the two essays I haven't submitted yet.

Studying medical sciences and humanities, but only in first year so get to do this all again next year, lucky me

Thanks! been a tough year, childminder played us up a fair bit last straw was the week before exams. So kids are going to a daycare nursery next year which agreed to have them at short notice this week. They loved it there so can concentrate more on uni next year!

Ha ha Ella. I did 3 years in Uni before having kids and loved it! Lived the typical student life. This time round it is so different with kids.

I was invited out yesterday for a drink after exams and I declined to go home and sleep before the kids came home!

It's not easy with kids, I look back and wonder how I found the time to do college work while working and looking after my daughter. It must feel great being able to relax a bit after a week like that! Hopefully when you go back it will be a bit less stressful with the nursery set up

Wow Karen what a time you've had. At least you'll have a chance to breathe a bit now and catch up with yourself.

Glad to hear the results have been good so far for all the work you have been doing, you must be doing something right.

Thanks guys. I'll certainly be having fun, have lots planned for the summer, and next year I will be more organised so the things life throws at me don't get in the way of work.....well that's the plan anyway

Off to a park tomorrow to meet a friends with the kids and Tinker while Ian sleeps after work. She has a 6 month old staffie and 3 kids so should be fun lol!

Wow! Well done Karen. I know how you feel, I handed in my last essay of year 2 last week, starting year 3 in September and Know its not easy when you have kids.

Sounds like you're doing great, fingers crossed the rest of your results are as good as the ones you've had so far
