Can i let my pup out in my garden

Hello all tinks doing very well just turned 11 weeks and now gotten to the point where she makes a mad dash for the door when she hears the keys go lol. She had her second jabs and chip last week monday and wondering if its ok to let her out in my own back garden or is it still a big no no ?

when we do go out im carrying her everywhere most dog walkers we pass giggle and ask if shes given up on walking lol Spent the whole of sat blocking all the gaps in our garden and think its now puppy proof just need tink to test it

We always let ours in the back garden straight away. Also when Buster had his jabs the vet said he was fine to go out for walks a week after so she should be fine

Yep your baby can go out into the garden. He could of done the day he came home with you too.

Weather permitting i have the litters i breed running around the garden from 6wks.
Their only allowed outside if i'm with them or all the adults are outside to watch over them for me ... as 2 gardens down Mr fox has his den

to be on the safe side i wouldnot take a pup out on the day you bring them home but 3 days after there first jab you are safe to do so im suprised your vet didnt tell you this as its better them getting out sooner rather than later

A few days after the first jabs I always allowed them out.

Let tink have her first play in the garden today and she loved it lol running into brick walls,fence kids toys and gates eating mud,grass pretty much everything she could get to even drinking out of every puddle she found. Paid the price tho went out later that day to to do some shopping etc and when we came back found she had got sick all over the kitchen floor on her bed and everything.

how the hell do i get her to stop pulling up the grass and trying to eat the flowers lol she was running so fast half the time i dont think she knew which way to run she even spent a couple of mins trying to run up the kids slide which was very funny

how exciting for her!! Sorry I can't suggest anything but the post did make me giggle. The joys of a puppy

good luck. Mine eats mulch, the river rock in the little fountain, and dandelion heads; licks the hose; and tries to drink out of the birdbath (ugh). The joys of a Staffie puppy
