Buster's first school run
Buster came with us to walk my eldest to school today. He hasn't been able to go before because Reece is only in the reception class and I had to wait in the playground with him untill the teacher came to get them and I wasn't going to risk leaving Buster tied up outside the school gates (I get far too paraniod about someone running off with him! ) but now Reece has to walk up on his own to get him ready for year one in September.
I wasn't sure how he'd be, and thought with all the children about he'd be a nightmare (he loves kids) but he was good as gold. He walked by the side of the pushchair without pulling, and sat waiting while we watched Reece walk into school, and was perfect all the way back too. Now to train my youngest up to walk that well....

No but it was raining so I don't blame people for not stopping. He did get a few dirty looks though

Re: Buster's first school run
I get that all the time, especially as Dempsey is fascinated by children! He goes all quivery when a child comes near him. He longs to play, but he gets quite worried because i think he knows that they are weaker than him & he can't push them around.
People take a wide detour around him.

"Dirty Looks" what a shame, I wonder if people realise what they are missing out on. I make a real fuss of every dog I possibly can, whenever I can, guess I am just a doggie person and some arn't.
Well done Buster you are a
