My Boys op!!
Boss went for his op today, he went in well all xcited an even looked happy to b walkin of with a complete stranger .
Vets rang around 1pm to say op went well he cam round ok an was lettin them no his voclas was working lol.
i cried when i got him in the car as he cried an yelped like i never heard him before couldnt wait to get him home, nearly had to carry him to door from car as he was so spaced out, got him in an he jus wouldnt settle guessing as this is due to the pain he feeling from op felt guilty for doing it due to him being in pain but glad he is home took bout 30mins for him to settle so looks like a nite on living room floor for me an me boy
Hoping he wil b back to himself as soon as possible as i dont like him not being himeself.
so he now has no testicales and hoping he will calm down an be more easier to train

Re: My Boys op!!
I'm hoping he feels better soon, but it does not always work for calming them down, best of luck with the training though, I'm sure he will be fine.

Re: My Boys op!!
was more the case of training him i can cope with his hyperness was advised by other memebers would be easier to train as his testosterone wouldnt be as high so his attention would be more on me then running for bitches

I have a friend has a collie cross and they said that after giving him the op he did calm down, but primarily it does come down to training.

Big hugs to Boss, hope he feels a bit better in the morning, every dog is different, some it calms.. some it doesn't.... keep up the hard work, either way he still has to grow up yet ><

Re: My Boys op!!
hi guys
up date on my boy, first nite wasnt a good one he jus wouldnt settle so slept on floor with him in living room, took his shade off as he was doped up an was trying to get it off!
Woke up nxt day he was still fast asleep took him for a wee nuffin think he was bit sore so brought him home gave him so more food which went straight threw which i was told was to b expected! still no shade on an wasnt bothered by his plaster or stiches at all, popped put put shade on came bk he had pulled it off but was sleeping no signs of him messing with his plaster! so havent put it bk on him!
went to vets yes for a check up wound is healing fine they took plaster off told me that as its not bothering him that he wont have to keep shade on, so his wound is healing nicely he is bk to his cheeky self eating and goin to the toilet fine jus not cocking his leg which hopefully will come bk in time
More to follow when he has his stiches out
