My last comment on the subject . Sorry if you think I was jumping down your throat but honestly wasn't . I agree there are a lot of "scum" on estates but there are also a lot of good people . You hit a bit of a raw nerve as I grew up on an estate and we had a great community with lots of nice people and it wasn't their fault that they couldn't afford to buy their own houses etc , so I just think it's a bit of a sweeping statement to make , that's the point I am making. Honestly no hard feelings here ( ) Probably best to leave this point alone now or we both end up taking a yellow card from Steve

they had the biggest log flume in the world when i went with school i went on it like a hour and half non stop
Re: theme park
When i went to alton towers it took 2 hours to get in cause of the traffic, an hour to get in the gates, an hour to get one ride another for another ride...so i said to hell with this and * off and got a few bevvys. unless you have the patients of a saint or a golden ticket its not worth going

Re: theme park
Well if you won't get on a ride because of that why ever get in a car or a plane? Same thing. All for a thrill!

A good friend of mine through our business refuses to fly because he has now been unlucky enough to experience 2 emergency landings after take off due to engine problems. I can understand someone feeling like that after such experiences. Me personally I love it. Never flew until I was 18yrs old and then it was because I was doing a Parachute Jump for charity , so first time I flew I had to jump out, sort of took the edge off the nerve for flying a bit Just packing my suitcase now to hop on a plane to Ireland on Monday

I flew from Belfast to East Midlands one time and it was in one of those small rickety planes that has only two seats on each side. I felt every bump and every quake i thought i was going to die i was nearly crying and climbing into my sister lap. I'm going again in June, but i am terrified of this little plane on my own! I'm not scared of flying normal planes but them tiny ones are awful1!!

they are normal planes , my parachute plane was alittle highlander and it was excellent. When I fly to Germany we always go on a prop plane (Embraier I think 2 seats on each side) Its great as you hear all the noises let you know everything is working , the bumps are part of the ride experience. Done a few big one like A380s and 747s and they are boring by comparison and way too many people on there. Surprised you even got a seat fluying to East Midlands I though they did that one like the buses and tube with the grab rails
