When you ignore him, do you just look away or do you get up and start doing something else? That can make a big difference with the nipping and biting.
Also, does he have lots of appropriate things to chew? Chews, chew toys etc? How much exercise does he get? Does he have interactions with other dogs? If so, how often, what type of interaction - free play, leash interaction etc?

Re: 11 weeks old
munschk, no we get up and go around the corner, just in case he decides to chew on wires. yes we bought hin nylabones, as per the vets suggestion. he goes on little walks as he doesnt have the rest of his shots, and if he bites someone than there would be trouble . due to the laws that all dogs need to bed up to date with shots and have tags . he doesnt have his tags yet.but we play as much as we can till our bodies have taken so much. even though we tell him no, or yipe ,or say ouch in a loud voice. LOL i even thought of bitting him like his mom would but i know that would only make matters worse due to he would think i was playing. this is also why he hasnt been around that many other dogs. accept at petco when we went, for toys. he seemed eager to meet but his tail went between his legs and had enough till the next dog.

Re: 11 weeks old
The vet told me that toys like rope pieces and the soft squeaky toys were bad for him and i should remove them and give him the nylabone. what other toys are good for his teething? also i think my friend was removed from the litter to soon, due to his nipping and biting are not soft mouthed. is it possible he was not removed to soon and he doesn't know his own strength?

Re: 11 weeks old
Hi and welcome from us and Suki. He probally doesn't know his own strength at that age and shuoldn't be teething quite yet. Turning around and ignoring is the best method but everyone has to do it every time.
Kongs are great toys and sliced sweet potatos and carrots in the freezer will help when the teething starts

im really having a hard time giving him tough love as he's shredding our fingers and arms. im trying to find someone near me with training experience that came show me better training hands on as this is me first staffie. we went tonight to petco again and he actually enjoyed a Dalmatian he met.
