Walking the dogs today i get stopped by a youngish lad he asked me if i was going too breed my two too which i said they are nutered, and the fact they are both male would have made breeding rather impossible pmsl.
He then asks if i know anyone whos breeding any staffs......, ummm nope and their are already too many staffs in rescues, he did say thanks anyway thou.

*sigh*

But funny he thought the twins could mate though!!

I got asked if I would consider breeding my Polly by a lad outside our village post office the other day, he had nice looking white 3 year old male and was a bit miffed when I said Polly had been spayed, but that even if she hadn't been, there is no way she would ever be mated with her skin problems, no way would I pass those on to puppies. He said he already had 3 bitches lined up to mate his dog with our local rescue is full of staffies, that's where Polly and now Charlie our newest pup both came from.

They just dont seem to engage brain before opening mouth do they.

When Saxon was 6 months old I had someone in a parking lot ask if I "mate her." Sorry, mate, he's a neutered male...

I've got this 4 or 5 time lately lads stopping me in the street to tell me about they're staff at home and how they make great pups first off mimi is spayed so it can't happen. A Plus what kind of fools pick a stud dog by a random chat with someone in the street. The really sad thing is thing is they're probably lots of ppl who thing its a good idea. I'd love to smack the sh!t out of them but I just have to count to ten and walk away

Ive also been asked 100s of times if i would mate Cairo with their dog blah blah blah..When i tell them no,i wouldnt and anyway i got her spayed,they look at me gone out.Like why would i spay her and not make money from selling puppys that would end up in dogs homes

Im always asked to breed banksy, and told how much money ill get from pups because of his colours etc!!

Then get told im an idiot because im getting him snipped lol, and then when i explain all the reasons why i wont breed him they dont understand lol!!

I got this in a pet shop in Minehead too.... I stopped off on the off chance they had some food I was looking for Heston and there was customer in there who spotted him and proceded to show me pictures of his 'bitch' from his phone, asking if i would consider studding him. Heston was only 6 months at the time and I just went down the "he's a rescue" route, whilst backing carefully out of the door Not being back since!!!
