anyone work with people like this????

I work with a girl year younger than me and omg she really grates on me at times.

Shes a nice girl but everything you have she has ten times better, or ten times worse!!!!!!

I have given up smoking so guess what so is she.

She a bit of a complusive liar too, she will tell me one thing and somebody else another.

Simple things and its this pathetic lol, shes gotta be centre of attention.

When another girl joined she asked her, her age she said 21 she said well thats ok im still the youngest and the slimmest ........ i mean wtf....

I so wanna say summit but cant be bothered with the hassle although everyone feels the same at work.

She sounds a real attention seeker!

I'm lucky. The only person I work with is my boss, and he's a rarely in the office so I get pretty much left alone - just how I like it!

She told me and my mate both a story about how she delivered her friends baby in the middle of nowhere, yet to someone else completely dif story.......

This list is endless but its all really pathetic stuff, things that aint worth lying about. Like how many units in her nvq she had too do said 14 we looked turned out to be 7 ........she was counting the bits that explained stuff.....

lmao, i have a family member like that, if you have a medical problem, she's been there or has it shortly after, when people phone to see if your ok suddenly she's at death's door. nothing you have like surgery or illness can ever be as worse as what she's had. sucks but but we learn to live with it, if she is that desperate for attention then she can have it

Yup we have one of those. Shes only 19 and has a big flashy car "cause someone dented the other one (also a flashy one) and i would rather get a new car than fix it) and if you feel ill, shes dying with the plague and if you're feeling a bit fed up, shes just out of the psych ward for mental break down.

Oh god my aunty is like that, she has has literally EVERYTHING and i think she has been in hospital every week for something made up. Actually my whole mums side of the family is like that! My dads side is totally different. His sister has dementia and doesnt even know who she is anymore but her hubby troops on to work even though hes like 70 and on her good days my aunty thinks she works so tries to get out of the house to get to work!

poor old thing, i have seen my great grand parents and grand parents go through dementia, it's not nice and damn heart breaking too see

I worked with someone like that as well. No matter what you were talking about he had been there and done that.

A girl I went to school with was listening to another girl who was explaining why she hadn't been at school for 3 weeks. She'd had pneumonia.

The other girl then said, "Well, that's nothing. I've had peeneumonia - much worse!"

I've worked with a couple of people like that. what they had was worse, what they done was better and their opinion is always right. Between that and some of the things people come out with regarding health/symptoms I go home at night tearing my hair out

Will need to see a photo of this individual in a bikini before voicing an opinion on the matter.

well I am really lucky because I am not working... but up till a few years ago I did waitressing for over 10 years ( must have been the world's oldest waitress! ) and I reckon I deserved an oscar for forever having to smile through gritted teeth at some of the 'people' I had to serve!

Ohhh Shelly, I do hope this girl has a very good memory, I always say that a liar needs to have a good memory.

Test her on something she has said recently in a few weeks time and see if you get the same answer. That should put her in her place, silly little moo

Well she aint a good liar thats the problem lol she always messes up her story lol. my mates pulled her up a few times and she just goes oh oh oh and walks off or makes up some more bull*** lol.

I wish people didnt have too folow others and could just be their god dam selves.

Got into work today she goes guess what ive gone a whole day without a fag, lies pmsl shes only saying it cos everyones been asking me about it lol.

I work with many people like this and it drives me bonkers. The one girl is 27, married, has 2 kids, and just bought a house. She does everything to be your friend, and then turns it all around. just the other day at work, she was telling our manager, what she did the day before. (manager was out sick. this girl is a supervisor) and as she was in mid sentence, I stopped her by saying excuse me, you didn't say any of that I did. She just kinda looked at me, and said you don't need to start fighting now Heather. I was like what the the F**K ever, and then I got spoke to about haveing a bad attitude the rest of the morning cause it was all my fault. and it doesnt matter who said what.

Lucky me. I can fire them if I don't like them (ok not really... laws and all, but I don't have to hire them in the first place if they aren't "a good fit").

One of the joys of being self employed is not having to put up with to55ers like that.
