7 and a half months old and very 'excitable'
Hi all
Zac is at that stage where he gets 'excited' and frisky a lot shall we say lol
Every dog or bitch we meet he just wants to lick their bits! is this normal behaviour for his age? He is also trying to be quite dominant in the house and I'm thinking its all linked.
Any advice is welcome x x

Not sure on the licking portion of the question as I haven't encountered that behaviour before. The dominance is most likely the teenage phase starting to show itself. I would advise to go back to basics and have everyone in the house do the same. Don't let any bad behaviour go without correcting and it will pass in time

Yes, I agree with jstaff - he's starting his 'teenage' stage: knows everything, listens to nothing & nobody understands him!
Go back to basics & don't let any unwanted behaviour go un corrected. He'll calm down soon enough! That's the theory, anyway.

Lol that's all I need 3 stroppy teenagers in the house ... Zac and my girls : D
Thought it was that ... Yes he is being put in his place when he tries it on.
Thanks for the advice.
Anyone got any ideas on the licking thing?

Not sure about the linking thing but what I can say is that Rocky has had his bit licked on more than one occasion. Dogs do have a strange way of greeting others ?????
