Do prostitutes, lap dancers & pole dancers have a place in society??

Do prostitutes, lap dancers & pole dancers have a place in society?? meh!! the average sl*t you see walking around the street wears less and does alot more and doesn't even have the brain to earn a living off of it. Disgusting as it is, its hardly worth seperating them (giving them seperate names) from some women.

I'm not sure what I would say, mum kicked me out when I was 17, I can kinda see why

I think they have a place, i think there should be brothels so atleast prostitues would be safe imo. Each too their own what they do their life.

I agree. Prostitution is the world's oldest profession. It's always been there and always will be, so why don't we just legalise it & help to protect the women involved?

It's been around for a long time and isn't going anywhere. Legalize it, tax it and there would be less issues

Legalise it. They can then get health care and 'Johns' would be safer. Besides think of the Tax base being lost at the moment.

It really depends on the woman (or man?) in question. Few, if any, of these people get into prostitution because they love sex. Most of them are on drugs and have had very unhappy lives. I don't think anyone should have to stoop to selling their bodies to make a living and I don't understand how anyone could pay to be with someone, while knowing that they're doing it purely for the money and receive no enjoyment from the act whatsoever.
I would prefer it if no one sold their bodies but of course the world is not perfect and these things happen. I believe all prostitutes should belong to licensed brothels or escort agencies to regulate them.
Dancers are something different, this is a form of entertainment. As long as they're not having 'special' dances on the side I don't see the harm in erotic dancing. If I had a better body I would totally become a pole dancer, they make in one night what I bloody earn in a month!

I think in certain circumstances they are all fine, lap dancing etc is just harmless bloke fun (I can honestly say I've never been to one in UK but have joined the lads on a night out abroad). Prostitutes as long as regulated do a good job to keep some of the freaks off the street (unfortunately not all of them), and then we have to think of people with disabilities etc that may never know some of life's pleasures without these ladies

Strip dancing can be enjoyed as an art.

Ill go to a place every now and again with my brother on a night out and my gf has no problem as its the safest place.

If as a woman you are worried about your man on a night out, would you rather him be in a pub where he can easily pull or a strip joint where you get your nose broken for remotely touching or coming on to the dancers?????

But Prostitution in my eyes should be legal. AS someone said you are never going to stop it, so why not make it clean and safe. Govt can tax it (oldest profession...may get us out of recession) and then the girls are always tested, clean and most of all safe.
