Both my boys have a dog bed but on the top
I use soft baby bunny rugs easy to wash and dry...you can buy them cheap at thrift shops..
In summer when it is really hot I use old cotton bed sheets normally they are abit cooler..

Vet Bed is good, although it can be quite expensive. It's hypoallergenic & quite tough......

Try a charity shop for some bed linen or blankets, cotton sheets would be best and can be washed at a high temperature.

Ledger has an old sleeping bag and an old double duvet with cheap covers in his bed and there are some fantastic thick cushions for £5 off the Market which he has in his crate and a double sized one for the back of the car

We have a bed made out of trampoline type material outside for her. She normally just jumps up on my old footlocker though

I'd still use VetBed. Strong, soft & easily cleaned (washing machine & then just hang up to dry). Bit pricey but lasts for ages.
