Conjunctivitis
I am pretty sure Pixee has conjunctivitis. She has been off her food abit the last two days, plus wetting the bed two nights in a row, I know she has a cold in her body. Her nose is fine, not runny or anything, but she did shivier two days ago. I also noticed yesterday how heavy her eyes looked, like we do when we have a cold. I am having to wipe some discharge away. This morning, the one eye has yellow discharge. Has anyone dealed with this and how please? I was thinking of just going up the vet to get some saline water to clear her eyes with???

Re: Conjunctivitis
If it is conjunctivitus then you will need to pop to the vets for some antibiotics, it will clear up in a couple of days, but be carefull as its very contagious (sp), I caught it from a cat once lol, so wash your hands when you touch the eye

Re: Conjunctivitis
Well the vet says, hopefully its only mild conjunctivitis, and to give eye drops twice daily for 1 week, and if not cleared up to go back too. So fingers cross all will be well now. While waiting at the vets, a lovely Americal pit bull came in, was so hugh too and a big softie she was.
