Dog Show today

Took Tyson off to an animal carnival out Kyalami way today. There must have been at least 500 horses there for the equestrian part and it was the first time Tyson encountered these large creatures. To say he was fascinated would be an understatement. Of course there were a lot of dogs there for the agility, jumping, flyball and dog dancing events. Only saw two other staffies there but Tyson stole the show. He was petted and loved by all from 6 to 60 and he was asked to pose for a lot of photographs including by the event official photographer. He was very well behaved and I was really chuffed.

We always have blue skys in winter. Athough it is still quite warm, the sunshine belies the nip in the air. The polar collar is kept wet and cools the dog down. Its filled with a gel like substance

That collar is a great idea. I've just found that Bella's lumps the other week out in the sun were probably due to the heat rather than the sun so I wonder if something like that would be good to keep her cool once it actually heats up again here.

loving the sound of the polar collar.. I need a couple here... Jethro feels the heat something chronic in summer.. and Winston was flaked out by the fan most days too..

Great pics and ty looks as handsome as ever, no wonder he stole the show.
Now I did have a look for the horses, and have concluded that because of picture two to the left hand side amoungst the nissan flags, the horses over there are quite different to ours plus its thrown its rider

Great pictures and it looks like it was a really nice day. I am not surprised Ty stole the show. That's what studs do.

Dann, Tyson did not participate. We were just watching the world go by.
