Lola cant pee
Took lola to the Vet today for a check up after her spye - TOld her than Lolas unable to hold pee as well & is going more frequent & sometimes just dripping to go... Vet said not to worry
But now Im worried as since the vets shes only dripped to pee & read up on canine cystitus and if not treated can be very harmful for her.
Humans have cranberry - what can dogs have other thank antibiotics as my vet isnt open tomorrow :/
Also does anyone know if a bladder infection is normal after a dog has been done.
THanks

Re: Lola cant pee
from what i have read it is common to constantly drip until it has healed after spaying but shouldn't last too much longer. Does she seem as ok as can be expected after the op or is she overly lethargic ?

I don't see why her bladder should be affected that much. It's been a few days now hasn't it? She really ought to be back to normal in that respect. If you are concerned you can always ask for a second opinion, although whichever vet you go to will make a charge for doing so.

Re: Lola cant pee
Ok Vets is closed.. I did mention the dripping to the vet on sat & she said didnt seem concerned said to keep an eye on it and bring her back so ill be a little annoyed if they want to charge me for it when I showed my concerns already.
Shes now going for 2 seconds but dripping after that.. shes fine in herself & pushing her luck to get back on the sofa lol
Fingers crossed shes ok & will keep an eye on her!
