Pinelodge Holidays, Darwin Forest Derbyshire
Just got back from a 4 night break in the above.
They allow one (or two small) dog in some of the lodges.
There are some great walks locally and even a forest trail right next door to the site.
We had a really great time even with the extreme weather we had this week.
Check out some pictures on http://cassiedog.com/

Great pics , I indulged in the boomer ball video as well Is that place on the side of Carsington then ?? We took our caravan a few times to Blackwall Plantation Caravan Club site which is just on the bottom side of Carsington , before we got rid of it . In fact it was Tilly's 1 and only caravan holiday

Darwin Forest is near Matlock and about 10 miles north of Carsington.
I used to go caravaning as a kid with Mum, Dad, dog and cat!
We decided to go for something with a little more comfort now I'm a little bit older Glad we did when the gales and snow came in overnight!

We've been to Carsington Water although it was a few years ago now. We had a lovely walk around the water, thats was before we were adopted by Rocky.
It is a very beautiful part of the world and somewhere I would love to return to.

I only live about 35 minutes from there so its great for us, Leek is a nice well placed town in the heart of the Moorlands so we quite happy here , though having seen your problems in your other post Kathy , like all places it still has its downsides and the council estate on the other side of town can be quite notorious at times
Cassiedog - I'm a bit stupid I didn't read the title of your post properly or I would have known exactly where it is

I know what you mean Dave, I'm sure most towns have their certain areas that you would avoid then again there are parts of our town that are completely different to here.
