Help to save Ebony

Ebony (formally Gizmo) was rescued from a council pound where she was due to be pts & found a safe place by the charity pound dogs. Ebony was sent to RSPCA's Danaher Kennels in Essex, where after less than 2 weeks, it was decided she could not be rehomed & should be destroyed. Why??? Simply because she chases her tail. Both Pound Dogs and an independent vet found that she was fine but the RSPCA seem determined to destroy her & for 3 weeks, refused to let her see a behaviourist. Pound Dogs have an experienced, loving foster carer on standby waiting to rehabilitate Ebony in the comfort of their home, yet the RSPCA have been insisting she must be PTS & refusing to release her back to the charity.

There is now a massive campaign to save Ebony from the needle & get her out of the RSPCA's hands. She even has the support of Dr Roger Mugford, who has offered his services free of charge.
The RSPCA have, in response to huge public pressure, finally agreed to get a behaviourist to assess Ebony but they refuse to allow anyone access to her & have now moved her to a secret location. The mystery behaviourist is being paid for by Ebony's supporters but has been selected by the RSPCA.

The RSPCA have been monitoring public opinion carefully & are clearly rattled by it. PLEASE show your support for Ebony & help save her life. Visit Ebony's page on Facebook & join her support group Ebony's Voice. Then spread the word as far as you can inviting others to join too. The more people watching, the harder it will be for the RSPCA to get away with killing a perfectly healthy dog just to ease numbers.
