Hello everyone!!
Hi everybody! Im new on here and need some advice but thought it would be rude not to introduce ourselves first! So I've had my staffies a while now, Frank and Lulu and love em to bits especially the way they fit in with the rest of the family!

Re: Hello everyone!!
Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome - nice to meet fellow staffy lovers!!
I have a problem/question I need help with please - sorry its a bit of a story but here we go.
A week ago I took the staffs out for our walk and went to our usual field to get some off lead time, everything was going fine until Lulu started acting strange and stopping Frank getting to me. I tried stopping this and showing them both attention but it did not work and bad fight broke out. I tried everything to stop it - and nothing worked every time I broke it up they just fought to go back at it, this scared/shocked me that my to cuties could be doing this to each other. After what seemed like forever I broke them up and Lulu ran away which gave me chance to tether Frank to the fence which allowed me to get them home individually. once home I kept them separated and just sat in the kitchen in tears at what I had just witnessed and at the thought of having to re-home one. My mrs suggested we reintroduce them slowly after a few hours, I was reluctant but did it as i didnt like the alternative. I was so nervous but they just acted normal and now one week on, if it wasn't for the scrapes you'd swear nothing happened.
The whole thing has left me confused as to why it happened and will it happen again? I have not walked them together since as I dont want to risk them fighting again. Has anyone else experienced similar events? Am i best re-homing one to prevent another fight? someone told me to get another bitch to draw attention away from me but surely this can only make things worse? Any advice is warmly welcomed as I am desperate to keep them but not if it means more fighting.

Re: Hello everyone!!
I would advise to walk them together on opposite sides and to supervise them closely when they are together. I'd also seperate them if you are going to leave be away from home to be on the safe side.
