over 18s.....is your dog getting in the way?
My lovely Lucy used to start the night on the floor then get on the bed to sleep. This used to give me the 2 seconds necessary to get friendly with my wife. These days she gets on the bed straight away, right in the middle and I have to push her away. more often than not she comes back with a look on her face kind of saying , "don't you know I have to sleep here"?
not great, it needs changing...

passed that stage in my house used to have kids and dog. well the dog had the manners to wait for me to get out the bed before he got in it and pull the duvet over him the kids didnt care they barged in and didnt flinch they would just climb in the bed and tell us to move over think you need to be shutting the doors downstairs to stop the interuptions

my kids are not as bad as they were. my son once unexpectedly turned up at the bottom of the bed and asked what it was we were doing. luckily he was young enough and now as a 10 year old he can't remember. we are extra careful now with my 6 and 7 yo daughters as they talk like sewing machines and the whole county would know otherwise

we tried, Lucy wined at the door and one of my daughters kindly opened the door for her to join the forgetful parents.

We give Suki a toy or treat that will keep her occupied. Works most of the time

Many years ago a guy who worked in our local garage was telling me about his caravan holiday in Devon. He owned a Caravan in Beer near Seaton and went there regularly with his wife and 2 Poodles who slept on their bed. When I asked him the dogs names as quick as a flash he told me they were called 'contra' and ceptive'

Rocky is already in bed before me and hubby anyway and manages to hog the whole thing (even though it is a super King size bed). No chance of any hanky panky going on in our bedroom

Re: over 18s.....is your dog getting in the way?
My ex had an EBT who was staying with the ex's father as said ex works all over the uk and is barely home. When his dad would be away, me and the ex would dog sit at his fathers. The dog always came up to bed with us, but annoyingly got inbetween us. Any sound of a kiss, or the movement of a cuddle he would be inbetween us like a bullet ! One night the dog pushed me out of bed ! I couldn't get back in, the house was cold, I pulled a tantrum and slept downstairs on the sofa and my ex left me to it ! Looking back now ? What'a * ! lol

Our kenny is a little bit of a pain in the bedroom too, we were once getting a bit you know wha, and kenny jumped on my hubbys back, not aggressively , just wanted to play, we now have to sneak upstairs without him
