does anybody have them on their roofs?
we dont have enough money to buy our owns but you can rant your roof to firms like british gas, but i'm looking for a good deal i found where they give you £30 a year plus £100 off your bills per year i have also found this one http://www.freesolarpanelsuk.co.uk/british-gas-free-solar-panels-offer.php
does anybody know of a better deals if we going get tired down to a 25 year conact it has to be a good deal.

dunno if you're right Steve... you do need sun, we have had them on our roof for years (at my mum n dads) and whenever it was overcast (still daylight but there were clouds everywhere) the hot water was not hot!
buuut then again our solar panels are about 10 years old and they might have new and improved ones... not sure whats out there today!

Solar panels don't need direct sunshine - they even work in cloudy or overcast weather.
