Today's hike (pic heavy)
We took Suki for a 10-12 mile hike today with an extra 1 1/2 lbs. She walks alot better with it on I think plus it really tires her out. I don't plan on ever puttin more than 15-20% of her body weight in her pack to be on the safe side and am going to build up very slow. The route we took is right next to the house.
Her pack is detachable and can be used just as a harness as well. It also has water bags so we can fill it with cool water for summer time. My better half insisted I make comments on each of the pics below since I told her we would only go 4 miles or so

Suki loves little kids. Alot of them are scared of her but this little girl said "mama one one" (Japanese for dog) so we let them say hello.

Re: Today's hike (pic heavy)
This route is just outside our front door. There are two parks she goes to normally but they are only a 10 or 20 minute drive each.

Re: Today's hike (pic heavy)
She is starting to put on some muscle weight and drop the baby fat. Her overall weight has stayed around 24kg the last few months so I am hoping once she is grown she will stay under 28kg or so.
I've had the backpack for over 6 months but wanted to wait until she was 18 months just to make sure I didn't cause and injury because her body wasn't devolped.

Re: Today's hike (pic heavy)
I think she may still be a bit tired. She let me sleep until 8AM and that is a bit unusual.

Re: Today's hike (pic heavy)
didnt see these pics first time round that bag looks great the one we have is bright orange so maybe it will get kistaken for some training thing liek the guide dogs etc. i just thought the bag would be great for carrying their own stuff which it will but walks with it on with weights in will be great

Re: Today's hike (pic heavy)
Works well for us and Suki seems to be very happy to carry things. It takes them a little while to adapt to the backpack and they will bump into things at the start
