But at least its a start unfortunately it wont help my nextdoor neighbours dog who is now 6 and has what looks like the starts of it I feel for them as its their first dog and she is such a gentle little dog

yes the kc have started doing things like this and cutting the number of litters that can be reg from a bitch now 4 was 6

It's a step in the right direction, and more directives are in the pipeline.

As I've said before, it can't all be rectified overnight, but at least they are now trying to do something.
