Max is ill :-(

Poor little bugger has thrown up a few times since yesterday, ate something yesterday arvo and it came back up not long after, and he has just brought up froth and bile ... seems ok in himself, but just a bit listless cus he hasnt any grub left in him ><

Will let him sleep a bit now, and try him on some rice/stewing steak (thats his "feelin poorly" food >< )

Awww poor Max >< Hope he feels better soon bless him. Sofa and snuggles day for you, well at least for a few hours, never keeps them down for long

Poor Max. They get little upsets from time to time, hopefully it won't last long.

Ty also was sick 4 times yesterday and has had very runny poo's. Hes acting really weird today as well.....Get well soon Max!

Thanx all, well, the bits he had today came straight back up ... so we took him the vets to be on the safe side

He had a thermometer you know where, a finger you know where, and a good going over by the vet, and tho he struggled he was fine bless him, untill that is, she tried to give him the anti sickness jab !!! must of really stung cus it took three of us to hold him (he dosent normally feel them, didnt even blink when he was chipped, so must of hurt him a lot ) ... he's got some antacid tabs, and cant eat till the morn, but if he's sick again, he'll have to be sedated and x-rayed

Well, I think he might be feelin a bit better ... he's had 4 small meals throughout the day, and kept them all down so far (thank god he hasnt gotta be sedated and x-rayed now )

He had a lead walk earlier, and I'm off to take him for a light run now if he wants to (upto him )

Lynne, yeah he's a bit sleepy but ok thanks love , I know they all get bugs and stomach upsets from time to time, but this must have been a nasty bug to effect him this way .. he's fit as a fiddle, and it knocked him sideways poor little bugger!

Guess he wont be trying out his new working harness this w/end now >< ... he looks forward to his workouts , but he'll have to make do with fetch etc till he's 100% again

Good ta Lynne , he is making up for not eating for a couple days , he's wolfing the grub down

Took him for a few miles pulling on the lead today, then a little ball fetching action and he loved it ... no real work though just yet, Im a big beleiver that rest is as important as excercise, especially after an illness ... I'll see if he's up for a bit more tomoz

Your quite right rest is important. Whilst resting the body has a chance to repair itself and be ready again for the next day.

Totally Kathy ... he's been on high protein, high carbs the last couple days to get him back on track I reacon by tomoz he'll be bouncin off the walls again like normal

I'm sure he will Andy, but make the most of the peace and quiet hey

... yeah he's got his big head on my lap, zeddin like a baby at the mo .... I think even now he's dreamin about some excercise, his front paws are goin, then the back ones bless him

I missed this some how too.
