Update On bailey

Yesterday i came on here asking if any one new what was rong with bailey he was really thin drinking alot of water and not eating much food. had him at the vets to day they took blood tests and he had an ultrasound. they found he had cancer of the liver. the 2 options were feed him on puppy food because it had lots of vitamins and stuff in and have him on medication they said if he fell in this weather and knocked it he would of started bleeding inside. option 2 was to have him put to sleep. I took option 2 to because i felt it was the better option i didnt want him suffering or making his life uncomfortable for him. It was a hard to decide what to do and i'm so gutted it has happened i have only had him a year or so i just cant believe it. but im glad his last year was with me and my boyfriend and it has been an amazing year with him. At least you know that you made him happy, and that he'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I don't know what to say....im so gutted for your loss.
Like you said, he is free now and back to full health and has had the best time of his life with you and your OH.

Awwww you have me in tears thats awfull my first dog went the same way it broke my heart I took the first option and it was a mistake she suffered at the end and she was pts you defo did the right thing by him. rip

Awwww so sorry to hear that! .. as said above he will always be with you and you will always have those memorys .. i no all to well its a horrible!! feeling but the best option for the dog is the best all round .. so sorry for your loss r.i.p bailey!

Oh no. I've only just read this thread. I'm so sorry for your loss Katie. There's no doubt that you did the best thing for Bailey and he's now free of pain and running over the rainbow bridge with all the other much loved and lost pets. RIP Baileyx
