i know people try allsorts to stop there pulling but this is just dam cruel

i certainly wouldn't dream of using one on marley,looks like it could inflict some serious damage to a dogs neck

I felt the same when I first saw them.

many people say they are good tools in the right hands & used correctly, but I prefer to work with firm & positive reward based obedience training.

Dogs can also wriggle out of them too, so a back-up collar/harness is also required.

i've seen these its disgusting it should never have been made never mind sold

Yes and this comment makes me so angry, there not nice and not needed.

They say pulling with a normal collar on can cause problems, what the hell could one of these "collars" do to a dogs neck!

OMG these should quite simply be banned

This is absolutely sick, evil and twisted. I'm a big fan of Its me Or The Dog by Victoria Stilwell because her mehthods are reward based and positive and thats what i use on millie because by punishing a dog you'll never get through to it and it will do things out of fear not because it wants to. Anway, on one episode a couple used these on their dogs and other instruments but Victoria was particularly disgusted by this one. She said' its all well and good testing it on your arm and thinking its fine but a dog has to have it on the most sensitive area of the body-the neck.' Victoria made the couple try it on the neck. It left marks and they felt immensely guilty! and so they should because this is sick!
