How many of you suffer hangovers and how bad do you have them ?
Thursday I was out for the funeral, had 3 glasses of wine and I was piddled. I was out from 10 and home by 9. Drank LOADS of water before bed, got up for work at 7 (late) and was hangover free, but so so tired all day on Friday .. Friday I had agreed to go out with my cousin and some others for her birthday ... I bought a bottle of red at the pub, came home with half the bottle, woke up feeling like utter poo all day ! Today I still feel a bit cockeyed !
I feel like saying 'I'm never drinking again' !

Re: Hangovers.
I can safely say I don't suffer from hangovers! Sometimes I wish I did as then I wouldn't drink so much
I do however suffer from the shakes in the morning!!

It would have to be an all dayer in bed for me, but that's nigh on impossible with a dog lol

Mind I must say fresh air does wonders for a hang over. Me and my niece took him on a 3 mile walk yesterday. I was done right in, Monty wasn't though !

I do miss being able to go out all night, catch a 90 minute power nap and being able to function in the morning

Re: Hangovers.
I can get real bad hangovers (obviously dependant on what I'm drinkin and how much ) ... but when its a bad 'un, I just stay in bed untill it pass's ... tho to be fair, the last bad one was after drinkin enough to put most in the hossy

Re: Hangovers.
I haven't drunk in years, but when I did used to drink I didn't really get hangovers. But then maybe that was because I was a student who went to lectures drunk from the night/morning before so hangovers didn't get chance to set in.
I did have one once though after drinking when I had been unwell. Had been ill all day and hadn't been able to face food for days so thought it would be a good idea to go out and drown my sorrows. Drunk a half bottle of vodka and one and a half bottle of wkd blue. Ended up coming home and lying on my bed with my head hanging over the side in a bucket. Remember it now, was paranoid, even in my drunken state of swallowing my tongue lol. Was pleading with flatmates to stay awake with me, but then fell asleep with my head resting inside the bucket. Was hungover for two days after that, next day I was still * as a fart though so hungover kicked in late lol! Not really drunk enough to get a hangover since then though. I wonder why?!

Re: Hangovers.
Lol got to be done. Been reliving the past quite a bit recently, since I have started my uni degree. Can't believe how different my life is as a student this time round. Done the whole drinking, essays the night before, not making lectures etc sometimes wish I could have that life back when I see the younger students on the course doing the same thing lol!

Hmn not really. When I lived up north last year, I was having a glass of Wine every night, or a bottle of Corona or 2, on the weekends I would put away 2 bottles of Red ! Since being home, I don't drink in the house, and I think that's why I can't handle it no more as I'm not used to drinking !
