Surprised Long Walkies

Post by standupforstaffies123 Tue Feb 28 2012, 07:47

Heyyy everybody. On Sunday, Millie and Me went on a mega walk. My mam dropped me off at one of the parks, we live at the top of our town so the walk back was going to be all uphill. I decided to go to the river there since Millie hasn't been in for ages, so I took her ball and away we went. Millie thoroughly enjoyed it! It was amazing! I took my wellies so I could wade halfway in with her, I can't wait until its appropriate beach weather again because I go to the beach with my cousin, Millie and Casey. Millie loves it and wades in fearlessly whereas Casey sometimes maybe steps in a tiny bit, remembers what she's doing and leaps out! Bless her! She's gorgeous! The sea is good for her paws and the sand is softer than the pavement so its really good and she loves it. Have we got any beach/river/water fans?

i love taking dogs to the beach they have sucha great time running and playing. and did you know that the beach is good for humans feet too. the sand works as an exfoliator so leave the wellies at home and go bare foot.

No beach near us in landlocked Bedfordshire sadly. Rocky does go for walks along the river though. He keeps eyeing up the water but has not yet plucked up the courage to go in. Maybe in the summer we will be able to encourage him in.
