tracing Russell's fam? Empty tracing Russell's fam?

I don't really know how to do this or know what I'm looking for - it'd be nice to know if Russ has any famous dogs in his lines but he is not registered - although his parents are and I have their papers. I don't have a good understanding of dog linage and what it all means though so I'm just going to confuse myself!

can any one tell me what all the names are? like with the dams papers - woolstaff pajero is the sire right? what are all of the other ones around it? and why is woolstaff pajero also attatched to the dam "mirador million dollar baby" does that mean there has been inbreeding?

sorry I'm blabbering... I have now worked out the names... so it looks to me like Russell's mum is a result of her mum mating with her grandfather! is that allowed? am I right in my conclusion?

looks like he's got a few champs in there tho

His mum's sire is also his great grand sire. It often happens in the dog world & is allowed. There are moves the world over to tighten line breeding (which is what it's called) to cut down on hereditary problems.

I wouldn't have thought it's a problem with Russ though because it's the only time there's been any inbreeding in his recent past.

If you want to know more you can apply to the ANKC who can supply you with 5 generation pedigrees for both sire & dam (on payment of a fee!).

I can't comment on the actual ancestors because I'm not well up on the Australian show world!
