DIY need help

I replaced the light in the living room its one of the old style with a metal circle in the ceiling that had two bolts holding the rose up. if that makes any sense

anyway i placed the bolts on the tv unit and somehow they have went missing and i dont have bolts or know the thread size, or M number had a search online but couldnt find anything i dont suppose anyone knows? im nipping down to B&Q tomorrow so hopefully they will know

i did read it should be an m4 but could be wrong

Really depends on the fitting .... all the "M" stands for is "metric" .... so really could be M4, M5, or even M6 !!!

what did the bolts screw into ?

if they came with the light fitting ring the company and tell them they will send some out to you
