Injured Powerpoints:)

Post by standupforstaffies123 Fri Feb 17 2012, 00:44

Heyyy everyone,

I absolutely love writing stories, making powerpoints, writing essays etc especially if its to do with dogs. Ive decided to make a bunch of powerpoints of dog breeds and (obviously) I'm starting with the staffie. I already know most of the information and am learning more and more through the internet, books and this forum of course!

So I was wondering if anybody had some interesting information or some good links to websites about or that have stories about staffies, pictures of staffies, videos anything I can put in my poweroint basically!

Anything would be much apreciated! Thanks everyone! Wink peace sign

Lozza, did you know that the Staffy is known as the "The Nanny Dog", because they are so good with children. This is mentioned in the breed standard.

"This has to be the most important clause of the standard and this is the only breed standard, with the exception of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever that specifically states "Affectionate with Children" ""

feel free to rip any pic from marleys fb page marley"at"axam102.co.uk
title it "when staffy ladies seduce husky boys" Smile

And Kathytake is spot on, take a quick peak at the kennel clubs web site. also worth mentioning is this,

"Sandy The Brave Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Keith Chandler, who was paralyzed from the chest down in a car accident, was rescued by

his two year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Sandy, when a fire broke out in his home. The

man yelled at his children to leave the house after he smelled the fire. He managed to roll

himself off the bed and tried to drag himself by the elbows across the floor but was making

little progress. Sandy rushed in from the garden, grabbed onto the top of his jumper and

began dragging Chandler to the door. She managed to get her owner outside. "The whole

room almost exploded just seconds after Sandy pulled me into the garden," said

Chandler. The fire, which started in the kitchen, was so intense that it gutted the house in

less than 30 minutes. "The dog undoubtedly helped this man get out of the house. He is

severely paralysed and I think without the dog's help we would probably be dealing with

a fatality here," said a spokesperson for the fire department. "

Hey Meg thank you so much. When doing things like this I prefer using mine or freinds pictures of pets to make it look more realistic than google images so thanks so much i will definetly do that!

Hey Kathy, I knew the bit about the Nanny Dog but no the other bit. Thank you, I will do that! and I will also look at the breed standard.

Thanks Nathan! Also had a look on youtube, seen the videos of Marley! Hes beautiful! Wow that story is amazing!!!!!!
