Had a horrible agility class this morning. It was wet and muddy after all night rain and fine drizzle this morning. Tyson gets very frisky in the wet and had trouble concentrating. About half way through, another dog being walked lower down from the field in the bush disturbed a bunch of plovers and guinea fowl in the undergrowth. They flew up in a noisy flock and Tyson was off!

I went after him and we did a dance around the bushes for a good 30 minutes. He goes in, the birds come out I dash after etc etc. The training is done on a fully enclosed estate so I had no worries of him going awol so I gave up and went back to the field and waited. He eventually came back wet, dirty and exhausted, I was wet, dirty and peed off. We joined the class after a 5 minute time out.

Got more training this afternoon and not so sure I feel like it. Hoping the heavens open up again. at wits end

Ah Tyson wanted to play hide and seek. Hope it goes better next time, I always think it's good when something happens then you are more prepared in the big bad world

Well we did go to training the fternoon. Blow me if the sun dont come out in all its glory just in time. Turned out to be hot an humid.

Good news is Tyson was extremely well behaved. Did all his work off lead, did not break any stays and even coped with a 'swop' handler' excercise. So the day ends on a good note all round. - thumbs up
