Early arrivals
Good afternoon, <:-P
We had a suprise yesterday afternoon when Roxy delivered her first (according to the ultrasound done at 5 weeks her first of 3) puppy. at 4:45 A brindle boy followed by a red female and thirdly a red Male all 3 delivered withing 1 hour and 10 mins. At at 6:10 another suprise a white Female with a brown patch over both eyes followed 5 mins later by another white female with a patch over 1 ear and eye. After a sigh of relief with 5 puppies another one decided it was time to make his entrance and a pure white male was born. Roxy was now relaxing and having cleaned all the puppies we started weighing them, Rox got very aggitated and we were just giving her back the puupies when we realised another was on the way and a few seconds later we had another brindle this time a female and I think roxy was about ready to collapse. All puppies were delivered by roxy and she only needed help breaking the sac's.
So 7 puppies 3 Male 4 Female's makes for a very busy house.
Roxy has taken to being a mum very quickly however she's still panting alot so think shes very tired nobody got much sleep last night.
Will upload the pictured this evening when i plug the camera in.

Re: Early arrivals
Unfortunatly we lost a puppy on monday roxy sat on her, we got her to the vets as quick as we could but there was nothing they could do. The other six are fighting fit and getting bigger every hour.

Re: Early arrivals
So sorry to hear that, very sad, but like you said, it makes the others all the more special now.

Re: Early arrivals
Yeah they do make the others all the more special on of kaisers sisters died from the mother sitting on her. Apparently the mothers sit on them to try and bring them back to life when they have died dont know how true it is
