Gaining her independance?
When we first got Suki she would follow us everywhere all the time and had severe seperation anxiety. She still does follow us everywhere to an extent but lately at night instead of sitting on the couch with us she has started to go into her crate much more often. I think she may finally be out of the adolescent stage of life and happy to have "Suki" time to herself

I think as they get older they gain self confidence. Your little baby's growing up!

Suki may be growing up. personally, i think that's good for a dog, as long as they don't "grow up" too much!

Sounds like she is settling down into her own groove. That's great.
