My oh's dad was in Egypt when he was in the army, and he hated it - he said that the Egyptians hated the soldiers & would throw snakes etc at them hoping they'd get bitten.

i dont know why people go to these place.... i'm very happy going holidays in the uk skeggy will do me

I know quite a few people living in Egypt and having nothing but positive things to say. I guess everyone has different experiences.

I think it also depends on whereabouts in Egypt you live.
