Another attack!

got up this morning 2 hear of another dog attack on a 13yr old boy who has been hospitalised with serious leg injuries in Armagh yesterday! The dog was described as a pitbull type the dog has been seized and a man arrested! This will undoubtly bring more bad press for our dogs as i myself have experinced people asking me why i have staffy are they not a banned breed, they just tar all bull type dogs with the same brush it infurates me ! I feel for the young lad and hope he makes a full recovery but these assholes who think its cool to have a dog of this type dont know jack *

It's a shame that society blames the dog and not the handler

My thoughts exactly the owners have to be dealt with more vigourisly the dogs face death; whilst these morons seem to escape with a slap on the wrist!

this sort of thing does my head in too! the dog who has probably been abused and ill treated to get it so aggressive gets killed and the owner probably just gets another one down the track...

It's difficult to head around this kind of thing. More should be done to the owner with regard to punishment it seems to be going around in circles though.

I dont know anything about the dogs history but i wud be confident in saying that it had horrible life and it now faces the ultimate sacrifice for being a status dog for this *!

I am with you here. I am not condoning dogs hurting humans but there are always reasons for why the dog behaved aggressively but none of the reports give both sides of the story.
